Location

Forte dei Marmi's name comes from the 18th century fort (a twenty minute walk from Hotel Logos) which is now home to the Museo della Satira, and was originally built to defend the long 300 meter pier used for shipping marble. It was commissioned by Michelangelo for shipping enormous blocks of the extremely white Carrara marble to Rome, where they would become the most beautiful sculptures of all time.
The pier has become one of the most popular walks in Forte dei Marmi and the entire Tuscan Riviera, where it is possible to enjoy the scenery of Versilia's coastline, flanked by the Apuan Alps. The historical center is a kaleidoscope of shops, boutiques and elegant watering holes, which make Forte dei Marmi one of the spots on the Tuscan Coast most frequently chosen by VIP's and famous entertainment and cultural figures.

How to reach us
By plane
- Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport is 43 km from Hotel Logos. To get to the hotel take a train or shuttle bus to Pisa's train station. Then take a train to Forte dei Marmi and get off at the Forte Dei Marmi-Seravezza-Querceta station and take a taxi to Hotel Logos.
By train
- From all directions take a train to Florence's Santa Maria Novella station, then change to a train for Forte Dei Marmi-Seravezza-Querceta and take a taxi to Hotel Logos.
By car
- From Genoa: take freeway A12 heading south and get off at the Versilia exit.
From Milan: take freeway A1 heading south, near Parma take A15 to La Spezia, and then A12 heading south until the Versilia exit.
From Florence: take the Firenze-Mare A11 freeway until Lucca, then take the connecting freeway for Viareggio heading north until the Versilia exit.
From Rome: take freeway A1 until Florence then the Firenze-Mare A11 freeway until Lucca, next take the connecting freeway for Viareggio heading north until the Versilia exit.
From the Versilia exit follow the signs for Forte dei Marmi and continue along Via Giovan Battista Vico, then take SP70, at the traffic circle take the second exit SP 45 and continue on Via Padre Ignazio da Carrara. Drive for 800 meters and turn right on Via Giuseppe Mazzini: drive for 500 meters and you'll find Hotel Logos at number 153.
